THE FOUNDER...
“I did not found a Community, it was born in the heart of God”
“I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness is laid up for me”…(2 Tim 4:7-8).
Born in Taubaté/SP, on October 11, 1948, in the Nossa Senhora das Graças neighborhood, he was baptized in the Church of the same name.
Son of Zélia de Sousa Santos and Benedito Henrique dos Santos, he is the first child of six siblings.
At the age of 16, through classmates, he got to know cigarettes and drink, starting an unruly life.
In 1972, he opened a large Eletroradiobraz store in Taubaté, being hired as a salesman. I took a course in São Paulo and we opened the store. Because I work on a commission basis, I came in at 7:30 hr and left every day at 22:00 hr and left; With a new crowd, he stayed later and later, drinking and falling for other reasons in the world.
In 1974, he became assistant manager and transferred. Having no sub-manager in this network, he made a deal. Once again, addiction is sin. As a traveler through Eberle in Caxias do Sul/Rn, the first sign of God occurred, which he did not know. He had to be hastily operated on his kidneys to extract a very large stone, and he was unable to drink for a month. It was in this company that he felt sick, a great dizziness, helped by the manager and taken to the pharmacy, I measured the pressure, it was normal 12×8. From that day on, my life took a different turn; every day he felt sick, dizzy, unable to work. As the symptoms increased, he went to the doctor and after several tests – electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram, etc., nothing. First stress diagnosis. Switching to tranquilizers. With no improvement, the doctor guided him to pray, directing him to a spiritist center. In the center, it was said that he was a medium and should develop - if nothing happened. Disappointed, he was taken to terreiros, to take passes, to make consecrations in a cemetery, etc. He attended Seichô No Iê, Messianic Church, took jourey, took vows, took baths in coarse salt, etc. This lasted 2 years. I was taking 2 lexotan high a daily, it felt like the end. He was afraid of everything, hid from others, didn't talk to anyone and just stayed in the room lying down. Panic was evident. Finally, he tried to commit suicide, but it is God who gives the last Word:
-“You were not born to be a floor cloth, but an Altar towel.”
One day in Taubaté, he was taken to the house of a man who prayed for people. Mr Inocêncio, lying on a board by doctor's orders, as he had fallen from the bus that was taking him to the Ford company where he worked. This man took it out from under his pillow and read something, and then he started talking to his wife about things he didn't understand…they talked and talked, without touching him, and suddenly he burst into a desperate cry. Two words were engraved: “God loves you! -“You were not born to be a floor cloth, but an Altar towel.”
Senhor Inocêncio was a good Catholic of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal who announced Jesus for the first time to him as Lord and Savior.
He lost his job, went to sell oranges on the street, take care of his family, but always with the Bible. He never felt dizzy again. He stopped drinking and smoking and in the Catholic Community Anuncia-me, he currently exercises the ministry of preaching, with the aim of taking the Good News to all peoples, forming leaders, so that together we grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus.
He has traveled all over Brazil to fulfill this mandate from the Lord: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature” (Mk 16, 15).
For 15 years, every Monday, the Você Pode Ser Feliz program is presented by Rede Século XXI. For twenty-nine years he has also presented the Programa Anuncia-me, from Monday to Friday, on radio Piratininga 610 AM (Guaratinguetá /SP), also broadcast by Web Rádio Anuncia-me.
Seeing the need to offer spiritual food to the people, he wrote some books. Among the most recent are “From Egypt to Canaan”, “Man to Man Conversation”, “Depression: God Can Heal You”, “Leadership: The Art and Process of Influencing People”, among others.
“The Lord has done wonders for me. Holy is His Name.”
